i'm just a regular guy that draws. becoming a professional comic book artist is a worthy goal i'm striving for. i'm mainly a pencil artist and i dabble with inking my work. I've been making this transition into digital and i've been enjoying the experience. i would love to collaborate with other talent here to produce on a professional level.|
i've had no previous art training aside from one art class in high school and one studio art class in college. This page is a showcase for me as a growing artist. I hope you'll stick around and watch me grow.
Part of that growth is practicing my sequential storytelling in the form of a webcomic; "Severe Caffeine" is the webcomic i'm working on. The link is below if you want to take a gander.
i love science fiction. i'm a fan of Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Bladerunner, Ridley Scott, James Cameron.
even though i'm skilled at visual arts, i believe that the writing is the heart of any storytelling medium.
Guys and Gals!
This passed November 2015, I took on the 30 characters/30 days challenge for a third time. This time around, it was all digital art!
Once again, the challenge was an opportunity to try different things; colors I wouldn’t normally use, or different line thickness, etc. Sometimes it worked and others not so much. It’s all been a huge learning curve!
Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t easy. There were moments when I was feeling burnt out, and other moments when I powered through with more than one character in one day b/c the idea was so fresh in my mind.
And, unlike the 2nd attempt at the challenge, I finished! LOL
